A different kind of family photographer

Laney Photography Blog

This blog features photo stories, tips and tricks on photographing your own family, and my thoughts and feelings.

Yes, But...Series: I'm too busy for a photoshoot

None of us have a full day when we aren’t doing anything but being ready to pose for the camera.

That’s unrealistic. I know it and you know it.

What I’m here to do is take photos of your life, your day, your routines and schedule.

This is to be a snapshot of your crazy, busy life!

  • Got a soccer game? I’ll hop in the car with you and photograph all the emotions that happen in the game and on the sidelines.

  • Got a family thing? Let’s all go together and we’ll include your relationships with extended family.

  • Got chores and errands? Let me get proof that you work your butt off for those within the walls of your home. That your love motivates you to keep on going.

  • Got nothing special to do? There are so many little moments when we do nothing particularly exciting, when we interact in sincere ways, and when our simple love shines through.

You can schedule your photoshoot months in advance! And then when that day comes, we’ll see where it takes us!

Maybe over the months between booking and shooting, that day fills up and maybe it doesn’t, GREAT!!!

It’s a day in the life of you and yours where nothing was planned BECAUSE of family pictures, but pictures were planned BECAUSE of family.

Do you have other concerns? Maybe I’ve addressed them in my other Yes, But…Series posts!

Is there something else holding you back from booking? Let me know here and we’ll chat about it!
